Heavy duty cable reel made of special rubber and specially designed for rough use in industry, trade, agriculture and in the building and construction sector. Perfect solution for camping or boating activities.

Special rubber cable reel

Robust compact winding form made of special rubber with a strong wound core to protect the cable. The large cable entry of the retracting device ensures the cable being retracted in both senses without buckling. Efficient strain relief, maintenance free plastic swivelling fixing brackets, functional locking brake incorporated in the handle. Fully insulated handle made of high-quality plastic to withstand the most demanding conditions.

Thermal circuit breaker in compliance with VDE 0620/0623 

Built-in thermal circuit breaker, free-trip type. This protection device can be deactivated manually after the temperature has sufficiently fallen. Has the rewound cable reached a maximum temperature of 60 °C the power supply is automatically cut off. This ensures safe operation and secure working conditions providing a longer cable life and eliminating fire risk. Due to the thermal circuit breaker no voltage limit is required. Even if the cable reel is completely retracted the rated capacity can be exceeded for a short time. Only after reaching the maximum temperature the power supply is interrupted. Once the temperature has sufficiently cooled down the interruption can be terminated by pushing the red button.

Four-way socket outlet, shock and impact resistant, double-pole + E, 16A, 250V.

Supplied as standard with splash-proof finish for out-door use and application in wet locations, on construction sites and under the roughest operating conditions.

3 jet proof safety socket outlets IP 68, double-pole + E, 16A, 250 V with lid with bayonet catch.

The plug-in devices according to DIN 57620 are jet proof in compliance with DIN 49442/443, resistant against oil, lubricants, light acids, tolerating temperatures from –25 °C up to +100 °C and resistant against brittleness. The complete cable reel is classified under protection class IP 55.
