Standardization:
The ML-601-DB supplied with the MLC charger was designed according to the specifications of the German Railway Company in compliance with the German Railway Standard (BN 411 002). Operations such as the shunting of locomotives require special lamps that are insensitive to vibrations. Furthermore the ML-601-DB carries a certification under EMC (electromagnetic compatibility).

General features:
The ML-601-DB is equipped with an emergency lighting function. As soon as the lamp is switched on and set into the charging holder the light turns off and the charging process starts. In case of a power failure the lamp lights up automatically. The lamp features also a charge state indicator. An electronic control-system prevents deep-discharge of the battery and controls the LED 1 displaying the battery state of charge. When the LED 1 is lighting up the operation time is limited to 20 min. (main light beam) or to 60 min. (red LED signalling light). The LED is only visible through the lamp housing when the LED is lighting up.

	Accurate running of wires is ensured by a three-pole, preformed ribbon cable.
Note: Here you will find the first component of the charging electronic system, next to it there is the bulb and the NiMH battery. This configuration constitutes the technical precondition for optimised proper battery charging. An intelligent charging control system processes important charging data such as ambient temperature, energy consumption or power supply.	Well positioned spare bulb. 		Based on the very latest technology: environmentally sound NiMH battery packs; easy battery replacement (reverse battery protection); the above mentioned intelligent charging technology optimises battery performance, life and safety with up to 1000 charging cycles (see also technical specifications of MLC charger).

Warranty:
The lamps are guaranteed for one year from the date of purchase against all defects in material and workmanship. Due to our sophisticated charging technology we give as well a one-year-warranty on our battery packs. In case of improper use warranty claims have no effect. Light sources are exempt from warranty.

Service:
Every single spare part displayed in the exploded view is available. For repair work incurring after the expiration of the warranty period we recommend our own repair service. The costs will be charged according to our customary fixed prices.

Express:
On request of our clients we offer from the 1st may 1999 on a special express service. Your defect lamp will be repaired within 48 hours or be replaced by a new product. We will only charge prime costs incurred due to this service.
