The upper part of the charger features two green LEDs control lamps (LED 4) operating exactly in the same way:
 During the quick charging process these green LEDs light up constantly (approx. 2 hours).- Once the battery fully charged the charger automatically switches to trickle charging indicated by the blinking of the green LEDs (LED 4).
The hand lamp shall only be charged with an ambient temperature between 0 °C and +55 °C. With temperatures above +50 °C quick charging is no longer possible. Trickle charging is automatically stopped at a temperature of +55 °C.
Note:
Will the lamp be inserted into a charger with a battery temperature below 0 °C the charging cycle will start at a low trickle current (60 mA) and the LED 4 is blinking until the inner temperature of the lamp has reached 0 °C. Then the charger automatically switches to quick charging. The hand lamp can be stored in the charging unit with the battery fully charged until the lamp is used without any risk of overcharge. The blinking of the red LEDs (LED 5) indicates, that the charger is properly connected and the power supply is on.
